Catherine Ulbricht Catherine (Kate) Ulbricht received a bachelor of science degree from University of Connecticut, doctorate of pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences, and master in business administration from Northeastern University. Kate has served as a senior attending clinical pharmacist at Massachusetts General Hospital and assistant professor at multiple universities since 1996. She founded an international research collaboration providing evidence-based decision support tools promoting patient safety. Her publications include hundreds of peer-reviewed scientific articles, book chapters and texts. Kate helps propel Brigham and Women's Hospital Joint Commission/National Patient Safety Goals, transparency, and related educational efforts forward.

She is responsible for multidisciplinary complex case management and care transitions coaching for 41,000 enrollees as well as multitude of quality initiatives. Marie Robertson, BS, is Quality Management Coordinator for the Meritage Medical Network and Meritage ACO. She works with Andrea to implement quality assurance initiatives in addition to coordinating community wellness programs, CME events and other projects.

She earned her Associates Degree cum laude in 1981 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1985 from the University of Florida. She has worked in Quality and Risk Management since 1994 in a variety of settings including academic medical centers, children’s hospitals, and community hospitals. She was the Preston Memorial Hospital project leader for the American Hospital Association’s Hospital Engagement Network, the genesis for the ideas leading to the Sunday Shoes Project.
