Jessica Saunders is the director of community engagement at Dayton Children’s Hospital. She has worked at Dayton Children’s since 2007 and is responsible for Dayton Children’s community outreach and population health programming including the Dayton Asthma Alliance and the Family Resource Connection, a program that screens for social needs of patients. She is also the project manager for the Dayton Children’s Regional Pediatric Health Assessment conducted every three years which is used to set the children’s health and safety agenda for the hospital.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations and a Masters in public administration, both from the University of Dayton. Jessica was named by Dayton Business Journal in 2012 as one of their Forty Under 40 top young professionals in the Dayton region. She serves as adjunct faculty at both Wright State University and the University of Dayton.
